This contest really bring forth some fierce competition and bondship between Newgrounds artists. You did a great job as a M.C. for the art contest (unlike that lazy BoMbToons ;-) I'll certainly be participating for the next calender contest. :-)

For those that didn't win, don't let the contest get your spirits down. This really was the contest of the giants, with artists of high caliber participating. Maybe you've learned a thing or two; or even surprised yourself. Take what you've learned, and improve yourself. Your creativity is your own creation.

I like literally half the winners. The other half could have easily been taken by others (not including myself). There were so many great ones, why did you pick some of the simplest/weirdest ones for half of it?

Those are amazing, I loved PoxPower's Calendar the most and Buzzerd is just hilarious with Luis and Tom, but I didn't like TrippingMetal and UnderARock's picture at all. For TrippingMetal I just thought he ruined such an awesome flash series with his picture and UnderARock not sure what that has to do with Newgrounds unless I haven't been doing my homework, but the rest are simply amazing!

WINZORZ! - I figured using the TANKMEN colors would land me in fall if I won. I actually had another idea I wanted to drawl for this competition, but time didn't permit. But now I can use that idea for next year (= Thanks again for getting this competition going-and if you can get anything else goin', BY ALL MEANS annoy the staff till they approve it! Hopefully we'll be in contact before next October.

Wow, Newground's community and artists never cease to amaze me. Too bad I was too discouraged to enter.

Well bollocks. To be honest I completely disagree with a lot of these, I'm not going to sugar coat it. Some of those look to have been whipped up in 5 minutes, and a lot of great ones (with less characters in them) have been skipped to be replaced with average pieces (which contain many characters).

I don't understand what happened. Anyway, most of them are great, so congratulations!

TrippingMetal and UnderARock I admit have unique art styles, but I just didn't like how TrippingMetal portrayed There she is that's all. Anyways time for me to go watch On The Moon!

congrats. i really hate myself for not having finished mine but oh well there is always next year- at least i hope there is. i would love to see some of those drawings which arent vector with 300 dpi. i would love to know how they could draw that in PS with all those high settings. my computer is quad core 2.40 GHz with 3.50 GB Ram (the highest you get with win XP 32) and my PS cant handle such a file size. if you do one brush stroke it will take like 20 seconds for the stroke to build up so i would love to know how they did their drawings. maybe they didnt work with 300 dpi at all and the whole printing wont work out well. who knows?

Some good ones there, but maybe there should be 2 calendar because I thought there were some other good entries too!

Hmm, I was looking through the art thread and I would of pick a couple different ones, but this'll turn out cool none the less :D

i didnt enter cuz the contest was only like 2 weeks and i dont draw on computers anyway. kinda weird, i could have possibly entered cuz i have a few pencil drawings ive been meaning to finish and one of them is of salad fingers.

Either way, bluehippos should have won buzzwerds spot. anyone would draw wut buzzwerd did, honestly, it's awful, brings the entire calendar down. everything else is fine for the most part and would be good in the calendar, but buzzwerds is the weakest link without a doubt. think twice before putting that shit in the calendar, as it stands there no way i would buy one just because of the lameness of buzzwerds.

Really , really cool. Congratz to everybody! Wasn't it sort of an easy pick? I mean there weren't alot of great pictures (No offence to anyone who tried - you tried and thats awesome).
By the way, Im in art major but Im not that good ( I can draw but I cleaning up pictures and that on photoshop for example I dont know, I dont know how to make cool effects and such) but next year maybe I could join again if this competition would repeat next year. IS this competition going to be held every year :D ?

Beatiful. Simply beatiful. Looking at all the detail put into these drawings, I am awed! Every pixel just blew me away! I was surprised with "Lalo's" entry containing the RWD (Radical Wrong Doers) in there, but I mostly saw the Clock Crew in that submission. I also noticed there weren't any major "Alien Hominid" winners, just some making very small and slight appearances.
